Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm.
Start Date: As soon as possible (subject to the candidate's notice period, if applicable).

ZPos is a rapidly expanding company that supplies products and services to restaurants and takeaways. We predominantly sell e-commerce websites facilitating the online ordering of takeaway meals as well as the supply of EPoS systems, printing, and digital signage. ZPos Ltd's reach extends beyond these products, as we also provide web design and development services for other businesses within the ZPos brand.

To meet the growing demand for our services we’re looking to hire a User Interface (UI) Designer who will design intuitive and visually engaging designs that deliver a seamless experience across all digital platforms. You'll collaborate closely with the team and stakeholders to design websites and graphics that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also on-trend and functional. You’ll play a key role in driving user engagement and pushing the company forward.

About The Role

The candidate will be responsible and involved in website and graphic design to create visually appealing designs that meet the user’s needs and project specifications. Your work will directly shape how customers interact with our websites, applications, digital products, and viewed physical printed materials.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design websites and graphic designs using design software, such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar.
  • Translate project requirements into intuitive and appealing designs.
  • Collaborate with other designers, developers and stakeholders to deliver engaging designs, ensuring they are implemented accurately.
  • Maintain design consistency across all platforms and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure graphic designs are optimised for both digital and print formats, including proper colour profiles, resolution settings, and bleed/trim markings.
  • Stay up to date with current UI and graphic design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Actively contributing to discussions for new projects with colleagues and clients.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Experience in website design and graphic design.
  • Proficient in using Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar.
  • A keen eye for visuals and design.
  • Strong understanding of UI principles, typography, and colour theory.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create well-structured designs.
  • Experience with responsive design for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with front-end web design, including HTML, CSS, and website builders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently whilst assisting other team members.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of printing processes, paper stock, and paper products.
  • Basic knowledge of motion design and animation software (e.g., After Effects) for creating interactive elements or micro-animations.
  • Content writing skills.
  • HTML5/SVG animation.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
