Job Title: Tutor

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

1. Delivering high-quality academic support to students
2. Planning and implementing effective tutoring strategies
3. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
4. Assisting students in understanding complex topics
5. Tailoring tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs

Required Qualifications:

1. A relevant degree in the subject area
2. Teaching or tutoring experience
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to motivate and engage students
5. Excellent organisational skills

Education:

Degree in the subject area

Experience:

Teaching or tutoring: 2 years

Knowledge and Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of the subject matter
2. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
3. Proficient in using educational technology
4. Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Postgraduate qualification in Education
2. Experience working with students of different abilities

Working Conditions:

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
