Job description

Ever thought of becoming a Trustee?

Citizens Advice Rushmoor is an award-winning local charity that provides free, confidential, and impartial advice, while also campaigning on the big issues affecting people’s lives. Last year, with a team of around 40 staff and 60 volunteers, and a turnover exceeding £1 million, we helped almost 11,000 people across Rushmoor and the South East with over 43,000 issues. Now, more than ever, our services are vital to the community, and becoming a trustee is a unique opportunity to give back.

We are always on the lookout for new trustees who can bring fresh ideas, skills, and enthusiasm to our Board. This is a voluntary role where you can make a real difference, develop strategic leadership skills, and learn from others. Whether your experience comes from employment, volunteering, or personal life, we value diverse perspectives and welcome applications from people of all ages and backgrounds.

As a trustee, you’ll help shape the future of Citizens Advice Rushmoor and ensure we continue to run effectively. What matters most is good judgement, a commitment to our service, and the ability to work as part of a team.

This role requires a Basic DBS check, in line with our safeguarding policies. Having a criminal record does not automatically exclude you from becoming a trustee; each case is considered individually.

If you’re ready to make a difference and join a dedicated, supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
