Tree Surgeon

Dormansland, Lingfield, Surrey

£21 p.h

08:00 - 16:30 Mondays to Fridays

Reed Recruitment are recruiting for a qualified self-employed Tree Surgeon for a construction site in Dormansland, Lingfield.

You will be responsible for tree removal and monitoring on a housing construction site that is adjacent to a trainline. Health & Safety is of utmost importance.

Role:

  • Pruning and crown management – including reductions, thinning, and lifting to maintain healthy tree structures
  • Tree felling and dismantling – safely removing trees using rigging and precision techniques
  • Stump grinding and site clearance – ensuring areas are left clean and hazard-free
  • Following strict health and safety protocols – complying with industry regulations and risk assessments at all times
  • Using and maintaining professional arboriculture equipment – including chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and rigging gear

Requirements:

  • Reliable, respectful, and motivated individuals with a strong work ethic
  • A commitment to health and safety best practices
  • Relevant NPTC or LANTRA qualifications
  • Experience working near trainlines will be advantageous but not essential.
