Treasury and Investment Manager

Salary: £85,000 - £115,000 per annum | Location: London

A great opportunity to join a leading Lloyd's underwriter with an excellent record of profitability at a time of growth and development. The overall remit will be the full management of the treasury function including the management of a small team and to lead on investment activities and the relationship with the external investment manager. Duties will be broad and range from:

1. Developing strong relationships with fund managers and investment advisors
2. Ensuring proactive management of outsourced investment services
3. Responsible for investment monitoring, governance and controls
4. Management of the annual asset allocation strategy incorporating support from the external investment manager and risk team
5. The provision of reports and analysis and providing ongoing support to senior management
6. Ensuring regulatory compliance
7. Monitoring and where necessary development of treasury and investment policies
8. Responsible for maintaining a strong control framework
9. Providing support to the reporting and FP&A teams
10. Management of all day to day treasury and accounts payable activities through team management
11. There will be further project involvement in line with company growth.

Candidates should have experience of staff management and treasury and experience or an interest in investment. The role is well suited to an individual from either industry (insurance not essential) or practice.
