For an established CEO of several companies, we are looking for a Travelling Chief of Staff based preferably in London or Portugal (other EU countries also considered). Excellent knowledge of IT and social media use is essential. Drivers only.
The CEO lives between London and Faro, Portugal, and heads an organization consisting of several businesses in the media and marketing industry, as well as major projects in the automotive and health & wellness spaces. He is also an angel investor who has invested in multiple businesses. The support required is 60% business and 40% private/personal. This is an exciting role that seeks exceptional support in a fast-paced environment while offering engagement, responsibility, and growth within the organization.
Travel is about 40% of the time, with the rest being based remotely or the possibility to relocate completely to either Portugal or London for the right candidate. Travel is predominantly around Central Europe and Eastern Europe and can include trips to the Middle East and Africa. When travelling, the Chief of Staff is accompanied by the CEO’s travel team, including security and a stylist.

There is potential to split this role to get additional support if needed. The role could be solely (and ideally) based in Portugal, including Portuguese payroll and accommodation provided, or it could be London-based (with UK payroll) but no accommodation.
Hours: Mon – Fri 9am-6pm remotely, 24/7 when travelling due to different time zones. For extra days worked, time in lieu is given (some bank holidays may need to be worked).
Salary: £100,000-120,000 gross a year depending on experience. 28 days holidays including bank holidays. Accommodation while travelling provided (staying in the same hotel as the CEO). Allowances provided for subsistence and outfits. Apple laptop and phones provided. If UK-based, a company pension scheme is included.
