Travel Sales Consultant - Luxury Rail Holidays
Base Salary: £25,000 OTE £60,000+
Fully remote within the UK
Our client is a fast-growing travel startup who are now entering their third year of operation. Due to significant growth, they are now recruiting for a Travel Sales Consultant to join the team selling a niche product in the form of luxury rail-based holidays within Europe.
This is an outbound sales-based role working on hot qualified leads to convert into sales and build a repeat client base.
Travel Sales Consultant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively contacting potential clients, with the company providing a strong flow of fresh leads daily (approximately 375 hot leads per consultant per month).
- Understanding clients' travel needs and designing custom rail holiday itineraries.
- Converting leads into bookings through effective sales techniques.
- Providing outstanding customer service throughout the booking process and beyond.
Travel Sales Consultant Experience Required:
- Previous targeted sales experience within the travel industry.
- Ideally, some experience of selling holidays to Switzerland or Italy, or rail holidays would also be beneficial but not essential.
- A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- A proactive sales mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Sales focused with the ability to close and convert sales leads.
Travel Sales Consultant Salary and Benefits:
- Base Salary of £25,000.
