Job Title:Travel Groups Sales Executive

Location:Homeworking or at the office in Essex

Salary:£20k to £30k depending on experience

Our client is a dynamic Group Travel Company offering Days Out, Theatre Trips, Holidays and Cruises worldwide. They are actively seeking a Salesperson with experience in the Group Travel industry to join their growing team.

In the role you will deliver the highest standards of service when selling products to the groups market whilst expanding the client reach.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling days out, theatre holidays and cruises to new group bookers
  • Maintain and develop relationships with Groups clients
  • Understand the business requirements of each individual Group client and anticipate their requests and requirements
  • Support and assist the Managing Director and Sales team
  • Meet & Greet clients at functions
  • Offer after-sale assistance and reply to queries
  • Process bookings at the correct buy rates and (contracted) sell rates
  • Upsell additional product as appropriate at every opportunity
  • Maintain an excellent product knowledge on the entire product range by attending regular fam trips
  • Use your experience to increase the company’s revenue with new clients
  • Convert sales calls at the highest rate at the highest possible margin
  • Communicate to team leaders/managers all relevant customer feedback, particularly in the areas of pricing, products and services, to facilitate on-going improvements in our service
  • Assist in all other areas of reservations when required
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • To be part of a positive and enthusiastic working environment
  • Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and working to deliver common goals
  • Be fully aware of company policies/handbook
