Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Cath Lab Tech

Length: 13 weeks

Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays.

Call Requirement: During the week call is 16:00-07:30 the next morning. Weekend call is Friday 16:00 until Monday at 07:30.

Twice a week for 2 weeks in the month, one call weekend (Friday night-Monday morning) per month and 1 week following call weekend no call.

Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience
• Must have IR experience – 90% is IR
• Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry skills
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH
• ARRT or RCIS
• ARRT Advanced Cert and RCES preferred
• Perform EKG lead placement skills preferred

Other:

• Patient age group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Special Procedures / Unit Details: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types.
• Assist provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Job Details:

8 HOUR DAYS; 07:30 – 16:00

Call team consists of three staff members, one of which is an RN.

Special Equipment: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.

Unit Orientation: 40 Hours; 40-80 hours
