Job Title – Travel Call Centre Assistant Manager

Sector – Travel

Salary – £19k – £20k + uncapped commission (OTE £32k-£38k)

Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Manager to be based in their call centre just outside Chester.

Your role will be to support the Sales Manager to ensure the Sales Team meets targets and goals, ensuring profitability and service is maximized for the business.

You will need to provide management support for consultants with mentoring and coaching, including the development of the apprenticeship programme.

They need you to maximise sales turnover/profitability by providing quality service, specialist knowledge, and salesmanship to all customers, ensuring that the sales team are informed and organized to effectively produce outstanding sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Manager in achieving team targets by motivating and developing consultants.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints to arrive at a mutually satisfactory outcome.
  • Support the sales manager to ensure that all advertising, pricing, and discounts are communicated to the entire team and their understanding is confirmed.
  • Support Sales Managers with employee relations issues.
  • Recommend improvements to systems or working practices.
  • Supervise incoming calls via CMS and ensure that team members are on calls for the maximum amount of time.
  • Proactively seek to enhance personal development and share product knowledge with colleagues.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers – ensuring work is accurate and grammatically correct.
  • Handle any customer queries or complaints in a professional manner, achieving a mutually agreeable outcome.
  • Ensure sales teams are adhering to company policy in terms of sales techniques and data recording.
Experience needed:
  • Previous experience in a Line Manager/Team Leader role.
  • Previous experience in coaching and mentoring.
  • Travel Sales experience.
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results.
