We are looking for an experienced and engaging Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join a further education college on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of travel and tourism professionals.

Role Details:

1. Start Date: Immediate
2. Rate: £25-30 per hour (PAYE)
3. Contract Type: Temporary (potential to go permanent)
4. Teaching Levels: 1-3 in Travel and Tourism

Requirements:

1. A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Travel and Tourism
2. Teaching experience in Travel and Tourism (essential)
3. Ideally, a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE)
4. A current enhanced DBS check, including a child barred list check (must be on the DBS Update Service or willing to undergo a new check)

Your Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality lessons to inspire and motivate learners at Levels 1-3
2. Plan, prepare, and assess engaging learning activities
3. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
4. Contribute to the overall success of the department
