Travel Advisor (Full Time Or Part Time)

Do you have previous travel experience within a retail or tour operator background?

I am seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency in South Essex. This role will suit someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service, and a passion for travel looking for the flexibility to work full time or part time (4 days), with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £26,000+ commission.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants.
Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone.
Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries.
Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays.
Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs.
Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment.
Passionate about travel and customer service.
Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude.

THE PACKAGE:

A competitive starting salary of £25,000 - £26,000 + commission.

HOURS:

Full time or Part time (4 days).
Working shifts between Monday - Saturday; 9.00am - 5.30pm.
