Trauma Informed Autism ADHD Care Assistant
14 hours a week
Location: Gravesend - DA12
I am seeking a personal assistant who is trauma informed and capable of supporting me with the challenges I face due to my physical and mental health disabilities, including ADHD and Autism. The ideal candidate should be:
- Very organized
- Kind and compassionate
- Able to focus on my needs while at home
The role involves providing support within the home to help me meet my basic care needs and to access the community.
Requirements:
- Car driver is a must
- Must like pets (cats and rabbits)
- Understanding of nutrition, food preparation, budgeting, and meal planning is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a support worker is desirable
A DBS check will be completed before employment commences (cost covered). This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
