Responsibilities

To give you an idea of how this Transportation Manager role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

1. Oversee heavy cargo logistics from factory to job site, ensuring timely delivery and offloading
2. Select and manage subcontractors for transport and offloading operations, including port movements and road transport
3. Negotiate service costs within budget, ensuring value and consistent service delivery
4. Monitor permits and ensure pre-planned execution of load movements, including managing ancillary loads and coordinating with the main project manager

Qualifications
