Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday rotational 7am - 3:30pm and 9:30am - 6pm
Location: Prudhoe - NE42 6PL

DHL, an award winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
• Meeting the KPIs and exceeding the customer SLAs
• Vehicle and customer planning across 3 sites
• Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous transport planning experience is advantageous
• Strong IT literacy - ideally with some experience using Microsoft Office, Microlise, Tachomaster and/or Transporeon
• Excellent problem solving skills with an analytical approach
• Good communication and customer service skills - both verbal and written
