Transport Planner

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing the Multi Modal Area Investment Plans (MMAIPs) programme under the newly adopted Local Transport Plan
2. Focusing on the transport priorities and solutions at local geographical levels
3. Supporting the development and adoption of MMAIPs, including strategies and the County Wide Strategy Transport Investment Plan
4. Interpreting transport policy and strategy to support delivery teams
5. Identifying and developing key integrated transport interventions and solutions
6. Collaborating on cross-cutting programme delivery

Job Requirements:

1. Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing integrated transport investment/delivery plans
2. Understanding of prioritisation processes to deliver the investment/delivery plan
3. Experience in supporting the identification and development of schemes at the feasibility stage
4. Knowledge of project management and governance processes
5. Experience in public consultation and engagement
6. Collaborative working skills with internal and external partners and stakeholders
