Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking to join a growing business with excellent length of tenure? We are seeking an organised individual who can oversee the route planning for more than 20 vehicles. The Transport Planner will also be tasked with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency within the transportation process. We could potentially look at someone who needs training but has some transferability e.g. experience within a Coordinator or Fleet Administration position (or similar).

Salary & Package:

• £30,000 to £32,000 as a guide. Salary will be reflected depending on experience. A trainee will likely fall below this guide.
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
• Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
• Free parking.

The Transport Planner job would suit:

• Transportation Planning, Transport Modelling, and Transportation Management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to analyse and optimize transport networks
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

The Transport Planner job involves:

• Organising transport for internal stock movement
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure collections are scheduled in a timely manner
• Driving proactive fleet maintenance schedule, improving fleet OEE
• Booking 3rd party couriers, for both delivery and collection
• Producing delivery/collection schedule for a rolling 5 days
• Booking hotels ad hoc for installation team
• General administration - emails / phone calls / ticketing system
