Job Description

• Coordinate and oversee all transport issues.
• Plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services.
• Review and improve own performance and assist others in the team.
• Control, monitor and authorise driver's hours in line with procedure.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Monitor and report any accidents, ensuring the on time completion of forms in line with company procedure.
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Planner should have:

• Proven experience in logistics and transportation planning.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
