The Role of a Transport Manager in our Reading CDC

• You will be responsible for leading a team of Drivers and Transport Coordinators to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery and collection services for the company and its customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while managing the daily operations.
• Be accountable for ensuring compliance in transport legislation and O license responsibilities, and the implementation of cost-effective strategies to improve service quality.

What do you need to succeed as a Transport Manager?

• Prior experience in a fast-paced transport/logistics environment, with an up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• CPC qualification is desirable but not a necessity.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent organisational skills.
