Michael Page Logistics have exclusively partnered with an exciting client who are a Leading UK FMCG Business, supporting their search for a Transport Manager, operating one of their key sites in the UK.

Description

The Transport Manager role will require the individual to:

1. Report to the Head of Transport or equivalent.
2. Manage a team of 50+ indirect heads through 4 direct reports.
3. Be a CPC holder with O Licence responsibility.
4. Manage customer relationships end to end.
5. Manage Safety, legal and policy compliance including fleet audit compliance, Ops Ex standards compliance and delivery of a safe operation through the achievement of H&S standards and KPIs.
6. Be accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
7. Be commutable to Oxfordshire.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Transport Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:

1. A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential
2. Be Degree educated (or similar) - Advantageous
3. Have worked in a FMCG environment previously - Essential
4. Been responsible for a fleet of over 100 vehicles - Essential
5. Possess a high level of commercial acumen - Essential
6. A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential.
7. Have managed in excess of 100+ employees previously - Essential
8. CPC - Essential
9. Be a key driver in staff engagement across the board - Essential
10. Be commutable to Oxfordshire.

Job Offer

This role offers:

Salary - £46,500 plus additional company benefits
