We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee Speedy Fuels' transport operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our fleet and ensuring the compliance of our transport activities with relevant regulations, including FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) standards and tachograph regulations. Your expertise in toolbox talks and operator licensing will be crucial as you lead our team through safety initiatives and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

You will serve as a key point of contact for transport compliance-related queries and will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

Manage and ensure compliance with operator's licence regulations and FORS standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain transport compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct regular toolbox talks to educate drivers on safety practices and compliance policies.
Analyse tachograph data to monitor and improve driver behaviour and vehicle usage.
Conduct regular audits of driver records, vehicle maintenance logs, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with the transport management team to identify training needs and compliance gaps.
Oversee and coordinate driver training programs to meet compliance and safety standards.
Monitor and analyse transport operations to identify areas for improvement in compliance and efficiency.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders on compliance matters.
Prepare and present compliance reports to management and other relevant parties.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a transport manager, compliance, or in a similar role in fleet management.
Transport Manager CPC certification.
In-depth knowledge of operator's licence requirements and FORS compliance criteria.
Proficient in analysing tachographs and interpreting data.
Strong understanding of transport legislation, regulations, and best practices.
Experience conducting training sessions and toolbox talks.
Experience in developing and delivering driver training programs.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders.
