You will be joining us at a very exciting time as we move to Featherstone to a state-of-the-art fleet maintenance facility. If you are interested in working for the foremost Council Transport Services Team in the country, four-time national award winner and holders of Earned Recognition Accreditation from the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency.
Having experience of undertaking similar work in a demanding workshop environment, you will need to be apprentice trained and possess at least City & Guilds Motor Vehicle certificate level I, II or an equivalent qualification to at least NVQ level. Working 37 hours per week your shifts will be on a 1 in 5 rota = 4 weeks on days and 1 week on afternoons which includes a Saturday morning.
