Transport Coordinator - North Aberdeen

The Role

As Transport Coordinator, you will support the transport function of the business, with the coordination of import & export road shipments from start to finish, including quotation, ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service throughout all aspects of their enquiry. You will liaise with internal & external clients for all transport related issues and bookings.

Responsibilities

1. Provide competitive pricing and transport solutions to clients that meet their needs.
2. Ensure that awarded jobs are processed and followed through to completion.
3. Provide proactive updates to clients, resolving any issues that may arise.
4. Bill clients as per working SOPs.
5. Produce and complete all necessary paperwork, such as pre-alerts and CMRs.
6. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of transport service.
7. Ensure job files are processed and completed within the TMS.
8. Load planning for both domestic and international trailers.

Salary: £30-35K
