Transport Compliance Supervisor 1 Year Experience Required - Trafford– Permanent Role

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 (1 Hour Lunch)

Silver Arrow require a Compliance Customer Service Supervisor to work for transport company based in the Trafford area.

Your Role:

1. Supervise daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
2. Manage a team of drivers and logistics personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
3. Coordinate schedules for deliveries and pickups, optimising routes for efficiency.
4. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including vehicle maintenance and driver performance.
5. Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues related to deliveries.
6. Utilise IT systems to track shipments and manage logistics data efficiently.
7. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols and customer service best practices.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation department to enhance service quality.

1. Holiday pay - 4 weeks plus bank holidays. Plus 1 day per year up to 5 extra days max.

1. Previous experience in transport compliance.
2. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the transportation or logistics sector.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant IT applications.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
5. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
6. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on operational needs.
7. Strong geographical knowledge.
8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
9. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
10. A valid driving licence is essential.
