Transport Co-ordinator

Due to expansion, we have a great opportunity to join our Transport team based at our Head Office in Southampton. This role requires a confident person, someone who likes a challenge, is willing to learn, and enjoys daily interaction with people (internally and externally). You will be working with an experienced team who will help train and educate best practices. Training courses will also be provided for the right candidate.

Location: Nursling Industrial Estate, Southampton

Hours: 40 Hours Monday– Friday working between 9:00am – 6:00pm with 1-hour lunch; some out of hours work on-call may also be required.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, organise, and manage the routing of all fleet vehicles on deliveries and collections.
2. Work with the drivers on a daily basis.
3. Support the sales team to help meet time frames.
4. Build strong relationships with key customers.
5. Work with Site Operations and other key business departments.
6. Carry out other tasks as may be reasonably required, such as assisting the admin team during busy periods.
