Job description

Equans is looking for a Project Manager to deliver business change projects as part of our Transformation and Change team. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week offering remote working. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

This is a rare, exciting opportunity to join our UK Transformation and Change Team. You will report to the Transformation Programme Manager and will be responsible for project managing the delivery of strategic changes required to enable Equans UK to drive performance improvement and achieve its strategic ambitions.

The post holder will operate across the business working closely and collaboratively with stakeholders, both within and the wider business, providing project management expertise.

A broad mix of skills and experience are required to enable the job holder to support the wider range of activities the team is involved in.

This is a national role with travel to various offices including London, from time to time, along with home working.

What will you deliver?

  • Being a key part of ensuring the transformation plan in Equans UK is delivered and financial benefits realised.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to identify changes required to deliver the Equans UK strategy.
  • Identifying options and present clear and thought through business cases.
  • Developing robust project plans, identifying risks and issues, mobilising resources and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Regularly providing project status reports and updates to the PMO, Transformation Director and others.
  • Understanding the impact changes will have on people in the business and develop robust change and communication plans.

What are we looking for?

  • Professional qualifications and expertise in project management, such as PMI / PMP / Prince2 or equivalent experience.
  • Proven record of project managing complex transformation and change projects, such as people, business process and systems change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of one or more of the Equans market sectors.
  • Experience in the use of Change Management methodologies, frameworks or tools.
  • Able to map processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Able to identify and evaluate options, solve problems and make rational, evidence-based decisions including difficult trade-offs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of core business processes and systems.
