Role: Transformation and Improvement Senior Manager (x2 positions)

Location: County Hall, Preston (Hybrid Working)

Salary Range: £64,279 - £69,913

Are you experienced in delivering large scale service transformation and improvement? Lancashire County Council is seeking dynamic and experienced Transformation and Improvement Senior Managers to deliver portfolios of transformation and improvement programmes.

In these newly created roles, you will:

  1. Work with senior officers and wider stakeholders in specified Directorates of the council, to develop and deliver a portfolio of transformation and improvement programmes, through sound programme management and service redesign tools.
  2. Act as a business partner with specified Directorates, working in partnership to deliver transformation and improvement.
  3. Lead a dedicated team of programme managers and service redesign officers, inspiring your team to deliver a high-quality internal consultancy with a range of transformation and improvement capabilities.

What we are looking for:

  1. Strategic Leadership - You'll have substantial experience leading Transformation and Improvement teams within a local authority or similar public sector environment.
  2. Future focussed - You'll have a proven track record of identifying future improvement and transformation opportunities and to manage potential challenges and threats.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement - You'll have significant experience of working with senior stakeholders, evidencing your ability to build credibility with senior managers, and external partners.
