We’re currently recruiting for a Transactional Procurement Partner to join our Integrated Procurement Services team. This team plays a vital role in delivering front-line procurement services, particularly within the Purchase to Pay process—turning customer needs into Purchase Orders and ensuring smooth invoice payment workflows.

In this role, you'll report to the Transactional Procurement Service Manager and be a key player in managing our Oracle system to efficiently build and maintain Purchase Orders. You’ll also work closely with a variety of internal and external partners, helping to make sure seamless end-to-end service delivery.

While the role is primarily remote, quarterly meetings in Salford and occasional collaborative office days will be required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Review procurement requirements and non-compliant requisitions, in line with the compliance and standard financial instructions per trust and liaise with clients to make sure they are compliant.
  • Review documentation including contracts, quotes, and catalogue items for processing requisitions.
  • Work with the Transactional Procurement team to action and resolve queries for internal and external customers.
  • Provide expert advice and mentorship to external collaborators on effective submission of requisitions.
  • Support external customers on locating orders not received and guide any queries in the P2P process.
  • Arrange new supplier sets, collaborating with clients and suppliers, to ensure bank details and required documents are received and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Actively handle and report on their own workload to ensure delivery of customer requirements.

What you’ll bring:

  • Analytically minded with the desire to deliver the right outcome first time.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Well-mannered, professional, and adaptable at all times as well as flexible to the changing needs of the customer.
  • A confirmed ability to deliver quickly and accurately to customers across a high volume of requests.
  • A high level of organisational skills, effective time-management and a proactive approach to delivery.
  • A proven track record in IT systems with MS Office skills.

It would be great if you had:

  • Working experience of Oracle.
  • A proven understanding of the purchase to pay process.
  • A confirmed ability in IT systems with MS Office skills.
  • Procurement experience desirable but not crucial.
