As Training Programme Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the training across the region. You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC and NHS England are implemented locally.
Applicants must be currently working within the West Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent in the specialty school area. Experience within the specialty at consultant level is essential as is considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
You will work with the Head of School to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher.
