Trade Association - Membership Body

3 Days Farringdon Central London, 2 Days Home with Flexibility

Basic Salary £45,000-£55,000 dependant on experience plus benefits including Holiday 20 Days rising to 25 days year on year, Pension 5% matched contribution, Private Health Insurance cover, Dental Insurance cover, Bi annual medical check-up, Interest-free season ticket loan.

My client, a well-established and reputable trade association membership body, is currently looking for a Training Manager.

The Role of the Training Manager

With the Head of Training, be responsible for the development and delivery of the Training Academy education programme.

To lead on the production and delivery of a suite of training courses with key learning outcomes aimed at insolvency and restructuring professionals at all levels of experience.

To develop innovative training methods, utilising a variety of delivery methods including online and face-to-face to maximise the user experience.

To ensure that the Training Academy enhances association brand and reputation.

To help shape and drive a connected marketing strategy to drive take-up by members of the online training and other content.

The Person

Essential

  1. Demonstrable experience working in a senior training role.
  2. Experience of training and eLearning instructional design principles. The role will require the creation of training courses from concept to delivery.
  3. Experience of using training software and LMS systems.
  4. Experience of developing and delivering quality learning content in a memorable way.
  5. Working with and managing volunteer committees and working groups including agenda setting and minute writing.
  6. Ability to work with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to design and build professional development programmes.
  7. The ability to plan, manage projects and prioritise conflicting deadlines and to deal effectively with changing requirements.
  8. Ability to self-motivate, set personal tasks and tasks for others, and ensure these are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  9. Ability to research, analyse and communicate effectively, both in written and oral formats and for both internal and external audiences.
  10. Enthusiasm for learning - and ability to learn – about new technical areas.
  11. Ability to speak confidently and authoritatively in front of diverse audiences.
  12. Ability to work with colleagues to produce high quality joint work and enthusiasm for supporting team members on different projects.
  13. Be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  14. Demonstration of a high level of attention to detail across all tasks and projects.

Desirable

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
