Training Manager

POSITION: TRAINING MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: TRAINING

LOCATION: LONDON

REPORTS TO: BRAND GENERAL MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To implement the training (both product and retail excellence) strategy in line with HQ guidelines and define an action plan according to market specific development needs.
• To execute the training action plan for local teams: deliver training, retail coaching follow-up, promote the learning app.
• To identify specific needs for improvement and to enhance team skills in line with market objectives.
• To share training practices and tools with HQ and the global training community to guarantee message consistency and resource optimization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Training:

• Plan, organize and coordinate all of the team training.
• Train all teams (Brand history, DNA, products, know-how, retail services) with the objective of educating them on how to sell to Acqua Di Parma clients.
• Manage the full spectrum of education activities.
• Manage training budgets.
• Share and exchange with HQ on local actions and expectations.
• Be the reference in terms of knowledge on Acqua Di Parma.

Support Retail Performance:

• Coach our sales teams (be present in the POS to ensure learning dynamic, conduct role-play to ensure the sales speech & selling ceremonial is mastered).
• Focus on retail excellence to ensure that we offer the most extraordinary shopping experience to our clients (welcome, consultation, contact information).
• Constantly check the competition environment and provide recommendations for improvement.

PROFILE

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in training within the luxury beauty field.
Solid experience in both classroom training and field coaching.
Solid experience in building ad-hoc local tools for in-store training and digital supports (app).
Strong business acumen, proactive, a passion for excellence.
Experienced in using digital learning and clienteling tools.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Proficient user of Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written English.
