Are you a natural leader with a passion for helping others and driving change, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? We’re seeking a Training Manager to work within the management team training our dedicated team of volunteers working in our multi-channel advice service, delivering life-changing support to those in need.


Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment of volunteers.
  2. Designing, managing, and delivering multi-subject training in the main advice enquiry areas including welfare benefits, housing, debt, and employment to cohorts of volunteers.
  3. Working closely with the Advice Manager to develop and deliver high-quality training programmes, ensuring all volunteers are appropriately supported and trained to deliver the highest quality of advice.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. A thorough understanding of the main advice enquiry areas including welfare benefits, housing, debt, and employment, and experience of advice delivery in some of these areas.
  2. Ability to train and develop volunteers by providing comprehensive training, ongoing support, and coaching.
  3. Excellent and effective communication skills to deliver training to a high standard.
  4. Experience in training, improving, and developing staff and volunteers' knowledge and skills.
  5. Experience of working with colleagues to maintain a positive working and learning environment, ensuring equality and diversity principles are upheld.
