Training Coordinator

Assignment Type: Temporary, ongoing basis where you will be engaged via Hays

Location: Chichester

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Training Coordinator to support the preparation and manage the deployment of training courses, consulting programmes and training content to a global automotive dealer network both physical and virtual. Act as front of house for the Training Academy, hosting and providing delegate management within the facility during training activities. Supporting with the setup, duration and pack up of training sessions. Ensure all courses are sufficiently booked and dealers are aware of all joining and attending instructions. Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring users are up to date and assigned to the correct training plans, load new training content and support the roll out of annual training plans. Pull together reports from the system to support and guide the business.


Key Accountabilities:
  1. Brand Ambassador to delegates, stakeholders and the public and speak positively and enthusiastically about the company.
  2. Front of house for training at the Academy in the TLC, meeting and greeting delegates and fielding any public walk–ins.
  3. Provide delegate management for all delegates attending training at the Academy.
  4. Support with the training course preparation and pack up after a training session.
  5. Manage the Dealer bookings of training courses globally to ensure they are sufficiently filled.
  6. Manage the delivery of training sessions globally to ensure all Delegates have the correct joining instructions and information.
  7. Support with the booking of training venues and trainers, and ensure all suppliers receive payment within the required schedule.
  8. Support with the roll–out of annual training plans. Monitor & communicate the progress of training completion through the year.
  9. Support with the maintenance of the LMS, course pages are up to date, new training materials uploaded and users are correct.
  10. Ensure training records are up to date and distributed to relevant stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Understanding of global and luxury brands.
  2. Understanding of regional variances (cultural differences, working ethics etc.).
  3. Understanding of automotive industry, including dealer bodies.
  4. Intermediate to advanced PC skills – packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat X and Desktop Publishing. Experience with Adobe Design Standard software is desirable but not essential.
  5. Able to work against tight deadlines.
  6. A high aptitude for retaining detailed information.
  7. Excellent spelling and grammar.
  8. A flexible individual with the ability to multi–task.
