Training Coordinator
Location: Bedford
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per year.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm & Fridays, 9am - 3pm.
Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Training Coordinator to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Training Coordinator:

  1. Creation and implementation of relevant in-house training programmes and resources for our site colleagues.
  2. Selecting the most appropriate training methods and activities.
  3. Carry out needs assessments in order to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement.
  4. Providing vital information about training sessions and informing personnel about available training.
  5. Liaising with the leadership team to create annual training plans and supporting with budget planning relating to this.
  6. Researching and recommending new training techniques to HR, creating the curriculum and updating it to reflect developments within the industry.
  7. Ordering training supplies and materials to enhance the instruction programme.
  8. Ability to complete training cycles (plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate feedback).
  9. Strong work ethic, focused on maximising efficiencies within the role.
  10. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  11. Experience with virtual meeting platforms like Teams.
  12. An understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing accurate data.

Requirements of the Training Coordinator:

  1. Diplomacy and excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within teams.
  2. The ability to work well with key stakeholders at all levels within the Company.
  3. Outgoing, hardworking and able to work well on own initiative.
  4. Self-motivated and conscientious with exemplary attention to detail.
  5. Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  6. Great leadership and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning.
  8. Manual Handling instructor qualifications would be advantageous.
