We’re looking for an enthusiastic addition to our Web Development team at Bonacia – and here’s the exciting part – there’s no experience needed! This role is all about learning, with a full 12 months dedicated to helping you grow your skills through self-led projects. You’ll have the freedom to dive into personal web development projects to practice and learn, without the pressure of real-world client work. Plus, you’ll spend plenty of time understanding our business and gaining a deep knowledge of what drives Bonacia’s success so you can help us grow in the future.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Over the next 12 months, your main goal will be to learn, experiment, and build confidence in web development, through personal projects. Alongside that, you’ll get an in-depth understanding of how Bonacia works – from our digital printing processes to our tech-driven innovations.

You’ll receive some initial training from our experts, and we’ll point you in the right direction in terms of software, resources, videos and free courses. We’ll also be here to answer any questions you might have. For the most part though, we will expect you to hold yourself accountable for your learning, and regularly demonstrate what you’ve learnt.

You will...

• Master the foundations of web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and general web knowledge, such as how files are uploaded
• Create personal projects to put your learning into action
• Learn the ins and outs of our business to understand how technology drives our success
• Get to grips with how our web team supports Bonacia’s goals
• Build relationships with the Web team and the wider business
• Develop your problem-solving skills in a supportive, growth-focused environment

What We’re Looking For:

We’re not just looking for a web developer – as we’ve said, there’s no experience required. We’re looking for someone with the passion to learn and grow. Someone with ideas, with energy, who is excited by the world of web, who wants to dive into the nuts and bolts of how our business works. You’ll need to be enthusiastic about coding and great at communication.
