Trainee Traffic Management Operatives – Torquay

All applicants MUST hold a minimum 12D TTMBC, T1/T2 or above

Our clients require Trainee Traffic Management Operatives to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights and manning road closures, ensuring all schemes run smoothly and efficiently during each working day.

Due to the nature of the industry, each role requires certain flexibility, and candidates must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as needed.

Successful candidates for the role of TM Operative should have:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to carry out work to a high standard
  • Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours
  • Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request
  • Ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards
  • A can-do and responsible attitude to work

Applicants must:

  • Hold a minimum 12D TTMBC, T1/T2 or above
  • Have a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience
  • Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test when required

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekends and bank holidays when required.

Rate of Pay:

Up to £ per shift to start with increased payments for weekend and bank holiday work.

These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:

  • No umbrella payments or fees
  • Only tax and national insurance deductions will be shown on your payslip.

This will start as a temporary role but could become permanent after 3 months depending on your performance.
