Position: Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed

Pay

1. You will be paid per job, which will give you the flexibility to influence your own earnings on a self-employed basis.
2. You will have the option to lease a company van and the option to lease tools, uniform, mobile phone, and laptop directly from the client.

Job Description

1. You will be given full and ongoing training in the role and be fully supported throughout your working day by a dedicated service centre.
2. You will be working on a long-term self-employed basis.
3. Day-to-day duties include installing broadband, TV services, resolving broadband faults, and optimizing speed in our customers' premises on behalf of our clients, which include TalkTalk and BT.
4. The successful candidate will have an interest in Telecoms, broadband, and IT.
5. You will undertake shifts on a rotational basis with the option of flexible working.
6. In this field-based position, you will be driving from one job to another, providing the above services with a keen focus on customer service.
7. Our client is running a training course for this Telecoms Field Engineer position, which will last for two weeks.
8. Previous experience within the Telecoms Field, broadband Field, or IT Field would be beneficial; however, an interest in either IT, Telecoms, or broadband would be sufficient.

Key Responsibilities

1. You need to have a full UK driver's licence with no more than 6 points and have held this for at least two years.
2. You will be friendly, customer-focused, and have a desire to resolve customer issues.
3. You must be interested in IT, broadband, telephony, and digital TV technology.
