Job description

Smart Teachers are recruiting for Trainee Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools across Hammersmith and Fulham.

About the role
  • Teaching Assistants are required on a daily, short term and long-term basis, depending on suitable candidates preferences.
  • Roles will range from general Teaching Assistants and roles supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Previous experience working in schools not required; training will be provided and Smart Teachers will secure you a paid working placement.
  • General hours are 8.30am-16:00pm.

  • Smart Teachers works with a number of schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and the surrounding areas.
  • Schools range from local authority schools, faith schools and independent schools.
  • The majority of schools in Hammersmith and Fulham hold a 'Good' Ofsted rating.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Be willing to obtain an enhanced child workforce DBS.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Be willing to complete online training.
