Trainee Tax Accountant

TPF Recruitment is pleased to be working with an independent firm of chartered accountants in Brighton, assisting in the recruitment of a Trainee Tax Accountant. This firm has a friendly and collaborative culture, providing great exposure and career development opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to develop within a growing firm. You will work closely with the Tax Manager, assisting with:

• Personal tax returns
• Corporation tax returns
• Supporting the implementation of Making Tax Digital (MTD)
• Exposure to VAT and other areas of tax as part of your professional development

This role is designed to grow with you, offering structured training and mentorship in different areas of taxation and accountancy.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has some tax experience, even if it's only in personal tax, with a willingness to learn and expand their knowledge into corporation tax, VAT, and other tax areas. Alternatively, we are open to candidates with a broader accountancy background who have experience in:

• VAT returns
• Accounts preparation
• Management accounts
• Tax returns
