Job description

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Sign Maker / Fitter for our client based in Braintree on a permanent basis.

The role involves performing machine operation to prepare materials for print as well as printing onto the materials, assisting in other areas of the production and moving goods and materials around the workshop.

The successful candidate will have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience, will be keen to learn new skills and possess a positive can-do attitude.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Operating various machinery including CNC cutting machines, laminating machines, large format printing machines etc.
  • Preparing materials prior to printing
  • General production duties
  • Manual handling
  • Loading and unloading
  • Quality checking goods
  • Working as part of a small, busy team with a flexible approach
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse/factory experience although full training will be provided
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Flexible approach towards work
  • Must have own transport due to company location

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30.

In return, our client offers a salary of up to GBP26,500 per annum which may be negotiable depending on experience.
