The Company Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Working across the Private Sector, you will be responsible for sourcing the best Property Talent in the UK. Split into different specialisms, each desk has a primary focus meaning you will be an expert in your area.

As the company is still relatively young (founded in 2020), the opportunity to progress and run your own team is a huge highlight. The founder brought over 4 experienced recruiters, but every other consultant has progressed from a trainee position. The average earnings people have taken home in year one surpasses £50k, with regular £8k paycheques throughout the year.

If you have been working in sales and like the chase, but haven't quite found the business that rewards you, this definitely isn't an opportunity to miss.

The Benefits Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Starting salary of £28k, rising to £32k after your first promotion
  • Uncapped commission structure scaling to 45%
  • OTE in year one of £52k, year two £64k, year three £78k
  • 1-1 mentorship from one of the MDs
  • WFH options 2 days per week (office is always open)
  • Quick and transparent progression (first promotion within 6 months)
  • 2 annual holiday incentives for those who hit target in H1 and H2 (usually one trip to The Alps and another beach getaway!)

The Role Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Business development to win new clients
  • Attending client meetings to build relationships and understanding hiring requirements, as well as advise on market conditions
  • Sourcing candidates through advertising, networking, and headhunting on LinkedIn and similar databases
  • Matching candidates to the right job opportunities and managing the end-to-end interview process
  • Working hard to exceed targets
  • Handling any reservations from clients and candidates
  • Continuously building your network and keeping communication streams open
The Requirements Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Experience working in a sales or commercial role with client-facing attributes
  • Desire to earn over a basic salary
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to go above and beyond for your clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Ambitious and driven to progress into a leadership position
  • Financially motivated
