Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary full time Trainee Purchasing Officer to join the Procurement and Contract Management Team for 12 months.

The successful candidate would be responsible for carrying out the effective purchasing of goods, works and services on behalf of the Council and in particular our Education Department to ensure best value is achieved at all times.

We are seeking applicants who have either achieved their CIPS Level 4 qualification or are willing to start studying.
