Job description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy is currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant in the Addenbrookes hospital pharmacy.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals, and Trust colleagues. Duties will include:

  1. Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
  2. Stock ordering and management
  3. Invoicing and financing deliveries
  4. All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy

You will have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services.

Essential:

  1. Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
  2. Understanding of confidentiality
  3. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  4. Ability to work as part of a team

The hours & Working Pattern of the role are:

Total Hours Contracted: 45 hours
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm
