Main duties of the jobAs an OH Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our workforce. Your responsibilities will include pre-placement assessments and screening, supporting health surveillance programs, and contributing to the delivery of an award-winning occupational health service.

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential- oNVQ 2 or relevant qualification or healthcare related study
- oGrade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Mathematics or ESFA/Department for Education acceptable equivalent
- oDemonstrate a commitment to completing the Apprenticeship program and OH Specific Technician training
Experience Essential- oExperience working in a healthcare environment
Desirable- oExperience working in GP practice, clinic environments, out-patients departments
Knowledge Essential- oA good understanding of Occupational Health and the role of an OH Technician.
- oUp-to-date knowledge and skills to perform health surveillance tasks and a willingness to undertake additional training as required.
Desirable- oKnowledge of HSE requirements for health surveillance
- oKnowledge of working in a healthcare setting
Requirement Essential- oDriver and access to car to enable travel between sites and to external private contract premises.
- oMust be eligible for the Apprenticeship Scheme
