Trainee Teacher - Salaried - Maths

Are you a Graduate with a degree in Maths, accounting, finance or economics?

Would you like to gain QTS however would prefer a more hands-on approach, and no more university fees?

This is a rare opportunity to secure a salaried teacher training spot in a supportive, diverse secondary school in Manchester. The school is looking for Maths Specialists to join them. You will be developed as a teacher with an excellent mentor on hand to support you through the process.

Graduate Teacher Training - Maths - About the Role:

1. Join a welcoming school and deliver lessons to pupils in your subject specialism.
2. Be supported by outstanding teachers - mentoring and training provided.
3. Excellent pay rates with a salary of up to £29,000, working school hours.
4. Work 5 days per week, term time only.
5. Gain QTS over a 12/15 month training period.

Graduate Trainee Teacher Maths - Person Specification

1. Degree in Maths (or related) subject.
2. Great subject knowledge.
3. A passion for education.
4. Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable.
5. GCSE's C/4 or above in English and Maths (and a copy of the actual certificates).
6. You must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
7. The ability to teach a minimum of 12 hours or a 50% timetable, sole teaching from the beginning of the programme.
