Overview: Trainee Health and Social Care Assessor

Do you have management experience in Health and Social Care and are looking for a career change? Have a passion to motivate young people? We might just have the opportunity for you! We are looking for an experienced Health and Social Care manager (Deputy Manager or Registered Manager) who is passionate about training and would like to become a qualified HSC Assessor.

Trainee Health and Social Care Tutor / Assessor: Essentials
  1. A minimum 3 years management experience in a Health and Social Care setting (Deputy Manager or higher)
  2. UK driving license and use of own car
  3. Home based covering the Newcastle and surrounding region
  4. A mixture of home working and visiting learners in their place of work in the Newcastle and surrounding area
  5. Delivering Health and Social Care apprenticeship qualifications up to Level 5 (including Functional Skills English and Maths)
  6. Permanent position
  7. Full Training and qualifications (TAQA) are funded and provided by the employer
Trainee Health and Social Care Tutor / Assessor: Salary and Expenses
  1. The role is full-time, permanent
  2. 40 hour working week, Mon-Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends
  3. WFH Home based and flexible working - manage your own diary
  4. £27k - £29k (depending on experience and qualifications)
  5. Full travel expenses
  6. All equipment including laptop, mobile phone
