Looking to specialise in the Gas heating industry as a Trainee commercial gas engineer? Join a specialist contractor in the gas sector, gaining hands-on training, access to courses, and clear career progression to become an established Commercial Gas Engineer. Established for over 10 years, this specialist gas company is expanding and hiring for a trainee commercial gas engineer. Travel within a local patch carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on a mix of commercial and oil fired boilers in both domestic and commercial properties. Gain hands-on experience, whilst boosting your earning potential. Long term, you'll gain accredited commercial gas tickets and become an industry expert.
The role of the trainee gas engineer will involve:
- Service, maintain, and repair gas and oil-fired boilers in domestic and industrial properties
- Diagnose and fix faults in heating and hot water systems
- Carry out inspections and installations
- Learning on the job and attending training courses
The successful trainee gas engineer will need:
- All Domestic ACS Gas qualifications and experience working as a domestic gas engineer
- Desire to learn and train to achieve commercial gas tickets
- Full UK driving licence and happy to be mobile
