Trainee Fund Administrator

Our client is seeking a full-time Trainee Fund Administrator to support the Senior Fund Administrator in the effective administration of various fund structures. This role requires a commitment to excellence in client service and provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth. The contractual hours for this position are 36.25 per week.

Job Duties:

• Process payments across various banking systems.
• Handle investment transaction documents.
• Assist with KYC and due diligence requests.
• Support due diligence on new and existing investors and other compliance-related matters.
• Prepare materials for board meetings.
• Address a varied range of client queries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
• Execute and collate documents, such as NDAs, Bid Letters, Engagement Letters, and Comfort Letters, using DocuSign.
• Ensure timesheets are completed daily.
• Apply internal risk management procedures effectively.
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain high standards of delivery.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels.
• Organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and timely task completion.
• Strong administrative and numeracy skills.
• Flexibility and ability to remain calm under time pressures and changing demands.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Confidence to ask questions and raise issues appropriately.
• Ability to seek out information and understand external procedures related to applicable legislation.
• Interest in and understanding of fund structures, transactions, and operations.
• Awareness of decision-making limits and risk management.
• Capability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively.
• A proactive team player with a collaborative attitude.
