About the role and practice:

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Hertford Dental Care practice in Hertford. No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

Working Hours:

• Full-time hours - Monday 7.55am - 6pm, Wednesday 7.55am - 6pm, Thursday 7.55am - 6pm, Friday 7.55am - 5pm

Our private and NHS dental practice has been established for over 90 years and has a fantastic reputation for looking after the dental health of local residents. Dr Gordon Black has been awarded The Implant Diploma from The Royal College of Surgeons and provides dental implants at our practice.

About you:

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:

• We recommend that you hold Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2.
• Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care.
• Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session.
• Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
