Trainee Classroom Assistant Jobs in Newport and Cwmbran - Start Your Career in Education

Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic individuals in the Newport and Cwmbran areas to take the first step into the education sector. As a Trainee Classroom Assistant, you'll receive comprehensive training, support, and practical experience in a dynamic school environment. This full-time position starts on Monday, 28th April 2025, and is ideal for those looking to build a meaningful career in education.


Job Details:

Hourly Pay: £13.75 / Daily Pay: £89.38


Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday


Term Time Only


Location: Secondary schools across Newport and Cwmbran, working with students aged 11-16


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete four online training modules to equip you with essential classroom assistant skills.
  2. Receive ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated personal consultant.
  3. Work full-time in a secondary school setting, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 15:30).
  4. Participate in a paid trial week with a secondary school, with feedback to enhance your development.
